Several injured at Gooch Arena after falling off a bleacher, owner says

Several people were injured on Sunday night at the Gooch Arena in Wendell after falling off a bleacher.

Jason Partin, spokesperson with the venue, said too many people were on the bleacher at once.

Two people were taken to the hospital, according to a spokesperson with the property. Officials have not yet confirmed that anyone was transported by ambulance, but several EMS vehicles were seen on the property Sunday night.

"Everyone started screaming, you could hear the screams, babies crying," Partin said.

Despite the large number of emergency vehicles, concert goers were still seen filing into the arena and live music was playing.
