Serious crash in Wendell leaves two cars damaged, including one overturned

Two cars were badly damaged Tuesday after a crash on Riley Road.

According to the Highway Patrol, one vehicle was stopped in the middle of the street without the lights on, and was hit head-on by another car.

The people in both vehicles were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Riley Hill Road was briefly closed during the investigation.
