Sears at Crabtree Valley Mall store closing sale: Discounts up to 80% off
The Sears at Crabtree Valley Mall will be closing by the end of November and they are having a huge store closing sale with discounts up to 80% off!
In a Sears ad in the newspaper on Saturday, 11/3, the store shared the following clearance sales for the Crabtree Valley location:
80% off fine jewelry, select gold, silver, diamond and gemstone jewelry
70% off patio furniture
60 - 70% off fashion clothing
60% off footwear and exercise equipment
30% - 60% off major appliances, tools and tool storage in stock
30% off riding lawn mowers and lawn tractors
Crabtree Valley Mall released a statement on the closure, saying:
"We proactively negotiated the purchase of this property in April, 2018 to be prepared in the event of an announcement such as this one. Crabtree Valley Mall will redevelop this area to create an exciting new environment benefiting consumers throughout the Triangle and beyond."
In October 2018, Sears filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and announced plans for closing 142 unprofitable stores in an attempt to stay in business.
The Sears department stores in Fayetteville's Cross Creek Mall, in Goldsboro and in Pineville (near Charlotte) will also be closing.
