Scotland Neck police searching for people who fired shots at officers
Police are searching for a person or people who shot at officers there last night.
The Halifax County town of Scotland Neck is taking safety measures after multiple reported shootings.
Police are searching the person or persons who shot at officers Thursday night.
Interim Police Chief Tommy Parker told WRAL News the shots were fired near Main Street.
Mayor Eddie Braxton told WRAL News a nightly curfew goes into effect Friday, Nov. 10 between 9 p.m. and 6 p.m. The curfew will last until Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m.
No one was hurt.
