Roxboro police looking for man who robbed bank

Roxboro police are looking for the man who they say robbed a Carter Bank and Trust on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said it happened at 2:30 p.m. at the bank at 823 North Main St.

A man walked into the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money, according to the police.

Police said no weapons were shown and no threats were made.

The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Police searched the area.

Police said the man was wearing a gray T-shirt with bluish/gray shorts and a wide-brim beige hat.
