Robeson County custodian accused of sending inappropriate photos, videos and texts to middle school students

Robeson County deputies arrested a public schools custodian on Tuesday on allegations he sent inappropriate photos, videos and texts to Red Springs Middle School students.

Antwane Sinclair, 28, of Red Springs, is charged with charged with two counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of indecent liberties with a child and two counts of disseminating obscenity.

Authorities are holding Sinclair at the Robeson County Detention Center with a $1 million secured bond.

The sheriff’s office said Sinclair was suspended from the district. Also, more charges are forthcoming, according to the sheriff’s office.

Over the past two weeks, investigators have conducted several interviews and executed search warrants after a parent reported the incident to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. During the investigation by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, investigators met with the Red Springs Police Department.
