Rankings: Volleyball top 25s stay steady with few upsets

HighSchoolOT updates its volleyball rankings each week, using a Top 25 for the eastern and western halves of the state. The counties are divided the same way the N.C. High School Athletic Association divides them for playoff purposes. To compare to last week's rankings, click here.

West Top 25: The top 16 teams remain unchanged after last week, in which there were no upsets. The changes take place in the bottom half, where Davidson Day falls out and is replaced by undefeated East Rowan.

East Top 25: There was no need to change the top nine, and the only shuffling needed in the entire top 20 was Apex Friendship's short drop from 10th to 14th.  Laney, West Carteret, GRACE Christian of Raleigh, and North Lenoir bring four new teams to the rankings, replacing Durham Academy, Holly Springs, NCSSM of Durham, and East Wake Academy.
