Police investigate Raleigh bank robbery on Creedmoor Road

Raleigh police believe the same person robbed banks on Creedmoor Road in September and November.

They released surveillance images captured during a robbery Tuesday of a Truist bank branch at 8320 Creedmoor Road. The images show a person who appears to be a white man between 25 and 30 years old with a slim build. He is between 5'8" tall and wearing a plaid shirt, black mask, glasses and a baseball cap.

On Tuesday, the man passed a note to a teller demanding money and, when he got the cash, left the bank. Police said he did not show a weapon.

They believe the same person is responsible for the robbery of a First National Bank, at 7100 Creedmoor Road, on Sept. 18.

Police asked that anyone who recognizes the person in the surveillance image call 919-996-1193 or connect with Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com/89.
