With the solar eclipse fast approaching, some stores are reporting a sellout of the eye protection necessary.

Approved eclipse glasses need not be expensive, but they must be safe.

NASA and the American Astronomical Society have put together a list of sources for eclipse glasses that have been verified by an accredited testing laboratory to meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard.
