Police: Woman entered drive-thru window swinging knife in armed robbery at NC Taco Bell

A woman is being sought after allegedly swinging a knife to intimidate employees during a robbery at a Winston-Salem Taco Bell.

Winston-Salem police said the woman led an armed robbery at a Taco Bell restaurant on Akron Drive on Saturday afternoon.

The woman came in through the drive-thru window while swinging a knife, according to Winston-Salem police.

The woman then took the cash drawer, which had money in it. A WXII report notes she then got into a brown SUV and drove off. She is believed to be in her 40s.

No one was hurt. Police are still investigating.
