Police: 10-year-old shot at while asleep in Burlington home

A 10-year-old was hit Saturday by several bullets while asleep inside their home in Burlington, officials said.

Authorities said an unknown gunmen fired into the home in a residential area off Shaw Street.

The 10-year-old was brought to a local medical facility and is expected to recover.
