The Polar Express is returning to the N.C. Transportation Museum this year. The state museum in Spencer, which is about two hours from Raleigh, canceled the popular event last year because of COVID, but it's back on for 2021.

The event features an actual train ride at the museum, a reading of the classic storybook, a visit with Santa and actors who recreate portions of the story.

And, of course, everybody gets their own sleigh bell.

The event runs on select days Nov. 12 to Dec. 23. Tickets start at $32 for kids ages 2 to 12 and $38 for adults. This event is perfect for young kids and anybody who gets caught up in the magic of Christmas.

Head over to the museum's website for more information and to get your tickets. They can sell out for this one.
