Pittsboro police investigate armed bank robbery
Authorities have yet to make an arrest after Friday morning's armed bank robbery at a Truist Bank.
The Pittsboro Police Department is trying to find the person responsible for an armed bank robbery on Friday morning.
Police said it happened at about 10:40 a.m. at the Truist Bank at 44 Powell Place Lane.
Authorities have yet to make an arrest as of Friday afternoon.
Witnesses told police the person showed a gun during the robbery, but there were no injuries.
The person left the bank before the police arrived.
