PBR Cowboy Bar with mechanical bull coming to Cary

Cary's new Fenton Development is going country.

Hines, Columbia Development, Live! Hospitality & Entertainment and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) announced Wednesday that PBR Cowboy Bar will be opening in the development in the first half of 2023.

PBR Cowboy Bar will be located in a 4,300 square-foot space at Fenton, adjacent to upcoming sports and gaming bar, Sports and Social. There are currently 10 PBR Cowboy Bars across the country, with many located in stadiums.

PBR describes the bars as "bringing an authentic country western experience that marries an electric combination of 'cowboy cool' and big-time entertainment."

“Our PBR Cowboy Bar concept continues to expand thanks to staying true to our brand and an extraordinary partnership with Live! Hospitality & Entertainment,” said PBR CEO and Commissioner Sean Gleason. “PBR Cowboy Bars are now located in 10 cities around the country. To be able to open our first PBR Cowboy Bar in North Carolina, where we recently welcomed the Carolina Cowboys to the new PBR Team Series, is incredibly exciting for our brand and for our fans.”

The Fenton location will feature the area's only professionally endorsed mechanical riding bull. In addition to multiple bars, VIP space and an expansive outdoor patio, the bar will host live music.

Other PBR Cowboy Bars have hosted artists like Luke Bryan, Old Dominion and Justin Moore. Once a month, PBR Cowboy Bar recognizes Freedom Friday, a night of appreciation for all military personnel, veterans, first responders and public service members.
