Overturned SUV slows traffic on US 1 in Apex

An overturned SUV slowed traffic on U.S. Highway 1 in Apex on Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred before 6:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of U.S. 1 near Exit 96 for Ten Ten Road.

Sky 5 video showed a white SUV on its side in the far right lane, which was closed to traffic. The SUV was still on the road at 7:45 a.m., but a tow truck had arrived, and traffic was beginning to move around it.
