Officials identify body in Wilson County

Wilson County officials were investigating a missing persons case in reference to a vehicle that was found engulfed in flames near the area of Buckhorn Landing on Saturday.

Officials said there was not anyone with or near the vehicle at the time of the fire, but the vehicle was identified as belonging to a missing person out of Bailey, authorities said.

Officer Corey Bullock said James Graham, 52, is the missing man. Family members reported Graham missing on Tuesday. Officials found a body near Cisterna Road on Wednesday but could not confirm that it was Graham.

Police said Friday that the body was identified as Graham and tha the case is now being treated as a homicide investigation.

No additional information has been released. Officials said an investigation is ongoing.
