No. 4 Duke wins eighth straight road game at Pitt, 86-56

No. 4 Duke (25-4, 15-3 ACC) handled Pittsburgh (11-18, 6-12 ACC) with no trouble on the road in Mike Krzyzewski's penultimate regular-season game, cruising to an 86-56 win.

The win was Duke's eighth straight on the road, the program's longest streak since the 2012 season.

It took Duke barely three minutes to take a double-digit lead (14-3) and Duke would get it to as many as 15 points in the first half.

Pitt cut it to nine exactly once after that, at the 5:25 mark. But Duke outscored the Panthers 9-1 down the stretch to take a 36-19 lead into halftime.

Duke shot 48.1% in the first half, but a sizzling 70.4% in the second. Pitt was just 8 of 29 in the first half but shot 57.1% in the second. Duke was 11 of 22 from 3 compared to ????

Duke also scored 21 points off of 13 Pitt turnovers.

Trevor Keels led all scorers with 27 points on 10 of 15 shooting. Paolo Banchero finished with 21 on 7 of 10 shooting. Keels had 15 in the first half.

Wendell Moore, Jr. added 13 points, six rebounds and five assists for Duke, while A.J. Griffin had 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Pitt shot 42.1% for the game and was just 5 of 18 from 3. John Hughley led the Panthers with 19 points, 14 of which came in the second half, on 8 of 15 shooting. Jamarius Burton added 13, nine of which came in the first half.

Next up for the Blue Devils will be Krzyzewski's final home game in his storied career as Duke hosts rival UNC on Saturday night.
