In normal times, the N.C. Symphony's Young People's Series would bring in families from across the region for kid-friendly concerts that often incorporated storytelling, acting, dancing and other arts.
In-person concerts can't happen right now, but the Raleigh-based symphony has added a three-concert series for kids and families to its virtual offerings.
Here's the schedule:
- Peter and the Wolf, 3 p.m., May 1
- Carnival of Animals, 3 p.m, June 5
- Cirque de la Symphonie, 3 p.m., June 12
Viewers can stream the concerts to their homes and watch them on-demand for 20 days after each concert.
Tickets are $21.46 for a single show or $57.92 for all three concerts. More information is on the symphony's website.
