The brothers behind Nanasteak will open a new restaurant in the American Tobacco Campus next year.

Seraphine will feature Louisiana-style "staple dishes made modern" and seafood, including roasted oysters. Barrel-aged whiskey will be used to create "classic and eclectic cocktails," according to the announcement made Thursday.

The restaurant is inspired by the familial roots of the owners, Brad and Graham Weddington, who describe the concept as "an exploration of family heritage born in Louisiana ... ensconced in an intimate atmosphere curated to encourage groups large and small to join together and relax."

Like most American Tobacco restaurants, there will be an emphasis on outdoor dining on Seraphine's patio.

Seraphine is expected to open in mid-2022. It will take over the remaining portion of the former Tyler’s Taproom space shared with Parker & Otis.
