Powerball Drawing
Two lucky individuals in North Carolina struck gold in a Monday night Powerball drawing.
The first lucky winner won $1 million with a $2 ticket purchased at Ingles Markets on U.S. Highway 64 East in Cashiers.
Their ticket matched all five white balls.
Another big win was a $2 ticket bought in Charlotte at the Stop & Go on South Tryon Street.
That ticket won $50,000 and matched the numbers on four white balls and the red Powerball.
Both winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim the prize.
Wednesday’s Powerball drawing offers a $572 million jackpot or $286.7 million in cash.
