World of Bluegrass fest brings 101,368 to Raleigh

Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway and The Dan Tyminski Band will perform at Red Hat Amphitheater during this fall's IBMA Bluegrass Live! in downtown Raleigh.

The two-day event, planned for Sept. 30-Oct. 1, will include live performances on stages throughout downtown and at Red Hat Amphitheater. The street festival is free to attend, but Red Hat Amphitheater performances will require tickets.

The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and local host PineCone (Piedmont Council of Traditional Music) on Thursday announced the full schedule for shows at Red Hat Amphitheater.

A limited amount of free general admission seating is available for the evening performances. Reserved seating is recommended. Reserved seats start at $50 per night.

  • 5 p.m. Twisted Pine
  • 6 p.m .Balsam Range
  • 7:05 p.m. Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band
  • 8:10 p.m. Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway
  • 9:30 p.m. The Jerry Douglas Band with special guests

Sat., Oct. 1

  • 5 p.m. Della Mae
  • 6 p.m. The Dan Tyminski Band
  • 7:05 p.m. Dom Flemons & Shultz?s Dream: featuring B.E. Farrow, Dante? Pope, and Tray Wellington
  • 8:10 p.m Sierra Hull
  • 9:30 p.m. The Infamous Stringdusters

IBMA Bluegrass Live! is part of the 2022 International Bluegrass Music Association's World of Bluegrass – a five day bluegrass extravaganza including a business conference, the IBMA Music Awards and the Bluegrass Ramble showcase series.

World of Bluegrass takes place Sept. 27-Oct. 1 at various venues in downtown Raleigh.
