Missing Harnett County teenager found safe

A missing-14-year-old Harnett County girl was found safe on Saturday.

Kealy Meritt was reported missing from Dunn on Dec. 14.

Her mountain bike was later found on Christmas Eve morning on Interstate 95 South off Exit 70 in the woods.

Deputies said Merritt will be taken back to the custody of her parents.

Harnett County Sheriff's Office thanks all agencies who helped in locating Merritt.
