Man shot in Rocky Mount Saturday night

A man was shot Saturday night in Rocky Mount.

At about 8 p.m. on Saturday, officers with the Rocky Mount Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Horne Street where they found a man who had been shot.

The 24-year-old victim was transported to a hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
