Man rushed to hospital after near drowning in Wendell

A man nearly drowned Wednesday at a pool in Wendell.

Wake County EMS officials said the man was taken to Wake Med after a near drowning at a pool in Wendell Falls. Neighbors said lifeguards jumped in to save the man and were able to rescue him.

There's no word Wednesday night on the man's name or condition.
