Man charged with murder in Vance County, 2 people shot

A man on Thursday was charged with first-degree murder after a deadly shooting.

According to the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, Eric Ryan Hill, of Manson, North Carolina, was charged with murder after deputies responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Gillburg Lane in Henderson.

Two men were transported to Maria Parham Medical Center with gunshot wounds.

Daniel Blake Grissom, of Henderson, died. The condition of the other victim was not shared.

The sheriff's office released a picture of Hill before his arrest and asked for the public's help to find him. Hill was considered armed and dangerous but is now in custody.
