Man charged with attempted murder after stabbed man found in Raleigh street

A man was charged with attempted murder after a man was found in the middle of the road with a stab wound early Saturday, Raleigh police said.

Tavian Jamar McClamb, 28, was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Antrell Timal Tripp, 34, was found injured at West Lenoir Street and South Dawson Street around 2:25 a.m.

He was taken to WakeMed with life-threatening injuries.

McClamb was held in the Wake County jail.
