Keith, an employee at Lowe's Home Improvement in Monroe, built a wheelchair for an injured calf.

"Everyone, I would you like you to meet Keith and Lowla," Kathryn Russell posted on Facebook. Russell works at High Ridge Farms in Albemarle, North Carolina.

According to Russell, Lowla was severely injured when she was just three days old. Farm staff don't know what hurt Lowla, but her back and neck were severely injured, making it hard for her to support her head and front legs. Russell took her in to try to nurse her back to health.

"At this point, I knew she needed a wheelchair to help her get around," Russell wrote. "I called Lowe's Home Improvement and talked to Beonka. I told her about Lowla’s situation and she told us to come on in."

At Lowe's, Keith took Lowla's measurements and started building a wheelchair.

"He came up with the design and constructed it all by himself," Russell wrote. "He worked tirelessly without taking lunch break until the job was complete. I can’t express how thankful Lowla and I are for the service we received today."

Russell said she will provide updates on Lowla's recovery journey on her Facebook page.
