Love sandwiches? This Downtown Raleigh week is for you

The Downtown Raleigh Alliance will be celebrating the sandwich with a special week devoted to the lunchtime staple.

During DTR Sandwich Week, you can even enter to get a sandwich named after you.

From March 7 to 13 just post a photo of your sandwich from a Downtown Raleigh Restaurant on social media using the hashtag #DTRSandwichWeek or submit via the form on Downtown Raleigh Alliance's website.

All entires will be submitted to win a gift card or the chance to design or name a sandwich at a participating  downtown restaurant.

The grand prize winner will work with teams at A Place at the Table, State of Beer, or the downtown location of Union Special to design or name a sandwich after you. Winners will be announced on Friday, March 18.
