Sunday was a WRAL Weather Alert Day, and flooding is still a problem Monday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the Haw River near Bynum in Chatham County. The NWS said the warning will last until Tuesday afternoon and the river will crest at 12.4 feet Monday evening.

A flood warning has been issued for the Neuse River in Johnston County at Clayton and Smithfield. This warning is in effect until 7 a.m. Thursday.

A flood watch was issued for our entire viewing area until 6 a.m. Monday, but it has been canceled.

Heavy rain caused multiple flooded roadways in Wake County. One car could be seen trapped in flooded waters on Richardson Road in Apex.

4:51 a.m.: Flood warning issued for Neuse River in Johnston County from 7:56 a.m. Monday until 10:17 p.m. Wednesday.

3:56 a.m.: Flood watch canceled for Wake County and several other counties.

8:26 p.m.: Flood advisory in effect for Chatham, Cumberland, Johnston, Harnett and Lee counties until 9:45 p.m.

8:13 p.m.: Flood warning for Wake County and Durham County extended until 10:13 p.m.

7:08 p.m.: Flash flood warning issued for Sampson and Wayne counties until 10 p.m.

6:03 p.m.: The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Durham and Wake counties until 9 p.m. Sunday.

4:43 p.m.: Flood advisory issued for Edgecombe, Warren, Granville, Franklin, Durham, Orange, Vance, Halifax, Wilson, and Nash counties until 7:45 p.m.

3:51 p.m.: Flood advisory issued for Johnston, Cumberland, Harnett, Lee, Wake and Wayne counties until 6:45 p.m.

3:39 p.m.: High wind warning issued for Sampson, Lee, Hoke, Johnston, Wayne, Cumberland, Harnett and Moore counties.

2:36 p.m.: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Cumberland and Sampson counties.

1:45 p.m.: Reports of flooding in Myrtle Beach.

1:30 p.m.: Heavy rainfall continues. The NC Department of Transportation has reported at least six crashes since 8 a.m. Be cautious if you're on the roads.

12:39 p.m.: Crash shut down two lanes on Interstate 87 North in Wake County. Two people died, according to authorities.

12:20 p.m.: Tornado watch possible for coast. There is a 40% chance that a tornado watch will be issued for the area shaded in red.
