Graduation ceremonies will be held for thousands of North Carolina college students during the first two weekends in May.Here's a list of local graduation ceremonies with links to livestreams (if available).

Campbell University
Multiple ceremonies held May 11-13, locations vary.

Fayetteville State University
May 12 at Felton J. Capel Arena (graduate) and May 13 at Crown Coliseum (undergraduate)

The ceremony will be streamed online.

Meredith College
Saturday, May 13, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Outside Johnson Hall at Meredith College, 3800 Hillsborough St., Raleigh

Two outdoor ceremonies will be held Saturday. The ceremonies will be held in the courtyard area with Johnson Hall as the backdrop for these celebrations. A livestream is available online.

Shaw University
Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m.
Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S. Salisbury St., Raleigh

Shaw University is delighted to announce award-winning entrepreneur, philanthropist, political appointee, and economic activist, Ms. Natalie Madeira Cofield, as the 2023 Commencement Speaker. A livestream will be available on Shaw's website, on Facebook and on YouTube.

Barton College
Saturday, May 13, at 10:30 a.m.

Frank E. Emory, Jr., executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Novant Health in Charlotte, will be the featured speaker at the 121st annual commencement exercises of Barton College scheduled for Saturday, May 13, on center campus at 10:30 a.m.

Duke University
Sunday, May 14 at 9 a.m.
Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium, 110 Frank Basset Drive, Durham

The ceremony begins with the procession of degree candidates, faculty, administration, and platform party. President Vincent E. Price presides over the ceremony and remarks are given by a selected student and a keynote speaker. This event will be livestreamed.

University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
Sunday, May 14, at 9 a.m.
Kenan Stadium, 104 Stadium Drive, Chapel Hill

Bryan Stevenson, renowned public interest lawyer and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, will deliver the keynote address. A livestream link will be available at this website the day of the ceremony.

Methodist University
May 5 (graduate) and May 6 (undergraduate)

The graduate ceremoy will be held May 5 at 2 p.m. at Huff Concert Hall on the MU campus. The undergraduate will be held May 6 at 10 a.m. at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville. The ceremony will be streamed online.

North Carolina Central University
Saturday, May 6, at 8 a.m.

McDougald-McLendon Arena, 700 E. Lawson St, Durham

The baccalaureate ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. Graduating students are advised to arrive by 6 a.m. for line-up in the arena. The ceremony will be livestreamed on the school's YouTube channel.

North Carolina State University
Saturday, May 6, 9 a.m.

PNC Arena, 1400 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh

The event will be livestreamed online.

William Peace University
Saturday, May 6, at 9:30 a.m

Ceremony held on the university's Main Lawn at 15 E. Peace St., Raleigh

A one-hour baccalaureate religious service will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Saturday's ceremony features speakers and awards before the conferring of diplomas. As students exit the stage, a professional photographer will take an official photo. No livestream information was shared.
