Lexis Nexis employees donate toys for Coats for the Children campaign

On Monday, WRAL Nights of Lights at Dorothea Dix Park was closed for a private event with Lexis Nexis, who made their event extra special.

The employees of Lexis Nexis helped support WRAL's 33rd annual Coats for the Children campaign by donating new toys as they began the light route.

Coats for the Children helps collect coats and new toys for the Salvation Army throughout the holiday season.

Over 176,000 coats and over $2 million have been raised since WRAL began the campaign in 1989.

WRAL Nights of Lights runs until Dec. 24. Towering oaks, rollings hills and open fields serve as the backdrop for a dazzling light show through 1.3 mile route at Dorothea Dix.
