Juvenile shot, killed after shots fired into Hoke County home

The Hoke County Sheriff's Office said Friday a juvenile was killed after shots were fired into a home in Hoke County.

The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to the 140 block of Nevada Street in reference to a shooting into a home on Friday.

Upon arrival, deputies said they found an unresponsive juvenile that was later pronounced dead. There were no other injuries.

Detectives are currently investigating the shooting.
