Juvenile petition filed for suspect accused of robbing a bank in Durham

A juvenile petition was a filed Monday against a suspect involved in a bank robbery in Durham at the end of May.

According to Durham police, the alleged robbery happened May 31 on the 5400 block of South Miami Boulevard.

Police said the juvenile entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller then provided the money.

The petition charged the juvenile male with common law robbery.
