Juvenile hit while riding scooter, Raleigh police say

A person riding a scooter was hit by a car on Saturday in Raleigh.

According to police, the accident happened on the 1300 block of New Bern Avenue.

Authorities said the victim was a juvenile.

The juvenile was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
