Angel Island Fun Park

This indoor playground is great for children 8 years old and younger. They even have a height limit of 4-feet-6-inches. There are ball pits, trampolines and slides. Kids are required to have trampoline socks to play. If you forget them, you can buy them for $3. Children 2 years and older get in to play for $20 for the first child and $15 for the second child. Children 1 years old get in for $15 and infants under 12 months are admitted free with a paid sibling. Two adults per family are admitted free, then it is $5 for each additional adult.

Over the Moon Play Space

Space themed play structures, a low ropes challenge course, a climbing wall and a special area for babies and toddlers. Best for ages 9 and under. Open play tickets are available for purchase on their website for play slots that last for an hour and twenty minutes. Open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with limited availability on weekends.

Dave & Buster's

The Cary location features a large indoor arcade, virtual reality gaming, and bowling, as well as an onsite restaurant. Best for older children through adults. Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 1:00 a.m.

Notasium - Cary

A musically themed indoor playspace featuring two bounce houses, a slide, karaoke booths, performance stage, a floor piano, and other interactive musical activities. Open play sessions, camps, track-out programs, as well as group and private music classes are available. Reservations are encouraged for open play, but not required. Closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

Buffaloe Lanes

The Cary location of a local chain of bowling alleys. Features bowling lanes and an arcade. Family packages including bowling, shoe rentals and arcade credits are available. Open seven days a week from ten to ten o’clock, with all you can bowl offered on Fridays and Saturday nights from 10 a.m. to midnight. Call ahead to reserve a lane for all you can bowl or for parties. Closed Sunday mornings.

Bumble Brews Play Cafe

A Cary based play space aimed at children from 6 months to 6 years old, although it definitely leans to the younger set. Features a cafe for parents with coffee and even wine and beer! To entertain the kiddos there are small slides, climbing surfaces, a tiny ball pit, some small play stations, blocks and toys. Generally open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Consult the online calendar of events to make sure that the space isn’t booked for a party or special event during the day and time you intend to visit.
