Meet WRAL at IBMA Bluegrass Live! this weekend

IBMA Bluegrass Live! returns to Raleigh this weekend with two full days of bluegrass music. WRAL is a proud sponsor.

On Friday and Saturday the festival spans five blocks in downtown Raleigh with six stages and 100+ bands stretching from Martin Street to the Martin Marietta Energy Center for the Performing Arts at 2 E. South St.

The IBMA Bluegrass Live! StreetFest includes free music performances, an arts market, an exhibit hall, masters workshops, youth performances, food trucks, beer vendors and more. Around 200,000 people are expected to attend the event over both days. View the full music schedule here.

Tickets are available online starting at $50 for the performances at Red Hat. Performances at other stages in downtown Raleigh's City Plaza and along Fayetteville Street are free.

WRAL journalists, anchors and meteorologists will be passing out giveaways at a booth next to the festival's Capitol stage each day from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
