Howling Cow Butter Almond Ice Cream Pints in North Carolina and South Carolina have been recalled due to undeclared soy and wheat.

The recalled pints were sold at Harris Teeter stores in NC and SC and actually contain Cookie Dough Ice Cream which is made with soy and wheat. These ingredients are not listed on the Butter Almond label.

According to the FDA recall notice, "People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy or wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the Howling Cow Butter Almond Pints."

The Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association (MDVA) announced the recall which indicates that no illnesses have been reported at this time.

The recalled pints of Howling Cow Butter Almond Ice Cream are stamped with the UPC 0 74336 65079 6 and SELL BY date of September 15, 2022 which is located on the bottom of the container.
