Attention Harry Potter fans ...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert is headed to the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh in November. Tickets go on sale on May 11.

The Prisoner of Azkaban is the third film in the Harry Potter series. As part of the "in concert" series, the North Carolina Symphony will perform the movie's Oscar-nominated score by composer John Williams live as the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

The in concert versions of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone have played at the Duke Energy Center to big crowds in the last couple of years.

Since the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert in June 2016, more than half a million people have attended the performances, which are created by J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, according to a press release. More than 600 performances across more than 38 countries worldwide are scheduled through 2018.

The Prisoner of Azkaban will stop at the downtown Raleigh venue on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., May 11, for the Raleigh shows.

More information is on Duke Energy Center's website.
