A fire damaged a home Friday afternoon in Wake County.
Firefighters responded to a call around 5:30 p.m. Friday to fire on Fiddle Court.
It took crews about 15 to 20 minutes to put out the fire on the scene.
The family got out of the house safely, authorities said. However, one person did have a minor burn on his foot.
The Red Cross helped the individuals who were involved.
The fire left extensive damage, including the side of the house charred.
An investigation is underway.
