Fire at Raleigh apartment complex displaces five

There was a fire Sunday at a Raleigh apartment complex.

The fire happened at the Pines of Ashton Apartments on Roselle Court.

Officials said one child who was in the apartment was transported to WakeMed with minor burns to the leg.

Officials also said there's extensive damage inside the apartment that caught fire, and there's water damage to the units below.

The Red Cross is helping with an estimated five residents who were displaced.

About 25 firefighters responded to the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
