A woman was arrested after hopping on a school bus Monday morning in Cumberland County.

At 9 a.m., deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Bobbi Jo Keel, 51, of Fayetteville, with trespassing on a Cumberland County school bus.

When the bus stopped on Camson Road to release students from John Griffin Middle School, deputies said Keel got on the bus.

She was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center and processed. Keel was released on a $500 unsecured bond.

"We want to inform the public and parents that school personnel and students have a right to be on the bus and are the only ones allowed to be on the bus," the sheriff's office said. "While parents can walk their children to the bus, they cannot enter it."
