Fatal crash Thursday in Moore County kills two people, Highway Patrol says
Three vehicles were involved in a crash after a Chevy Cruze crossed the center line and into the path of a semi-truck Thursday afternoon.
Two killed in Moore County crash on Thursday
Two people have died after a fatal crash Thursday in Moore County.
According to State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on NC Highway 24/27 near McDuffie Road and involved three vehicles.
Highway Patrol said a 30-year-old man from Dunn driving a Chevy Cruze traveling east on NC 24/27 abruptly crossed the center line and into the path of a semi truck traveling west.
Both the man and his 25-year old female passenger were killed. No other injuries were reported.
NC 24/27 was closed for hours while troopers investigated the crash.
