Beat the heat with these after-work events this week!

Monday

Women's World Cup Watch Party (The London Bridge Pub, 110 E. Hargett St., Raleigh) - The pub will be showing the games all week long.

LambruscoFest (Pompieri Pizza, 102 City Hall Plaza, Durham) - Take a mozzarella-making class at 6 p.m. Ticketed events celebrating Italian food and wine continue through Saturday.

Escape Room Opening (Whole Brain Escape, 410 Upchurch Street, Apex) - The Triangle's newest escape room is debuting its 3rd room. Visit between noon and 9 p.m. to be one of the first to find the Mystic Orb or be trapped by an ancient curse on the Isle of Dread forever.

Tuesday

Luis Miguel (PNC Arena, 400 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh) - Recently winning both his sixth Latin Grammy and the Latin American Music Award for “Best Tour of 2018,” Luis Miguel is one of the most successful artists in Latin American history.

Music Bingo (Woody's City Market, 205 Wolfe St., Raleigh) - Test your music knowledge and bingo skills in multiple rounds and games. Games start at 7 p.m.

Night Battles (The Pour House, 224 S. Blount Street, Raleigh) - Night Battles will perform with Florida Man and Shadows.

Wednesday

Steve Earle (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan St., Durham) - Steve Earle & The Dukes will perform at 8 p.m.

Moore Square Market (215 Wolfe St., Raleigh) - The market, open from 4 to 7 p.m., features over 20 vendors along with entertainment, educational programming and special events.

The Record Company (Lincoln Theatre, 126 E. Cabarrus St., Raleigh) - The Grammy-nominated rock band from Los Angeles is influenced by blues musicians like John Lee Hooker, The Stooges and The Rolling Stones.

Wicked Weed Beer Dinner (Fairview Dining Room, 3001 Cameron Blvd., Durham) - Attendees will enjoy a tasty multi-course menu prepared by Executive Chef Jason Cunningham complemented with selections from Wicked Weed's robust collection of beers. Tickets are $65 per person.

Thursday

Mark Morris Dance Group (DPAC, 123 Vivian Street, Durham) - Mark Morris returns to DPAC with Pepperland, a unique tribute to the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' groundbreaking album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Scrantonicity: A Workplace Costume & Dance Party (Lincoln Theatre, 126 E. Cabarrus Street, Raleigh) - There will be comedy, dancing, costume contests, trivia, bar games, a photo booth, a specially curated cocktail menu and grand prizes.

Friday

Maria Bamford (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan Street, Durham) - Maria Bamford stars in the semi-autobiographical Netflix comedy series Lady Dynamite, lauded as "revelatory" by Entertainment Weekly and one of 2016's must-see shows by Variety and Rolling Stone.

Vampire Weekend (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell St., Raleigh) - The Father of the Bride Tour will feature the band’s biggest headline shows to date.
