Monday

Views from The Durham (The Durham Hotel, 315 E. Chapel Hill Street) - An array of planets will promenade across the night sky this evening, concluding with the magnified red glow of Mars. This rooftop event will feature guided constellation tours, music from DJ Mic Check and celestial cocktail creations from the bar.

Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz (Alamo Drafthouse, 2116 New Bern Avenue D, Raleigh) - Each week, teams of up to six people compete in a trivia gauntlet for awesome prizes. The game starts at 7:30.

Tuesday

Yoga on the Lawn (Oak City Brewing Co., 616 N. First Avenue, Knightdale) - The brewery is offering a pay-what-you-will yoga class.

Summer Concert Series (Pullen Park, 520 Ashe Avenue, Raleigh) - Enjoy a free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Food and drink will be available for purchase, and the train, carousel and kiddie boats will be open. Bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.

Jill Scott (DPAC, 123 Vivian Street, Durham) - The three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter will play DPAC.

Wednesday

Market on Market (219 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh) - Stop by downtown Raleigh between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a farm fresh lunch.

Wind Down Wednesday (Waverly Place, 2001 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary) - Enjoy live music, food and drink from 6 to 9 p.m.

Disney Trivia (Woody's at City Market, 205 Wolfe Street, Raleigh) - Questions will focus on Disney’s classic animated films, from 1937′s Snow White to Coco. Register your team ahead of time to guarantee a spot.

Thursday

Movies in the Garden (Raleigh Little Theatre Amphitheatre, 301 Pogue Street, Raleigh) - Watch Labyrinth outdoors as part of this five-movie series. All movies start at 8:30 p.m. and concessions and food trucks will open at 7 p.m. There is even a "Dog Zone" for four-legged guests. Admission is free.

Midtown Beach Music Series (North Hills, 4321 Lassiter Road, Raleigh) - Blackwater Rhythm & Blues will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.

Lake Street Dive (NCMA, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - The Brooklyn quartet will perform outside at the N.C. Museum of Art.

Friday

The Art of Fandom Nerdlesque & Cosplay Fashion Show (Imurj, 300 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh) - Doors open at 8 p.m. as Imurj offers a night of all kinds of artists, including a international hoop dancer and a flow and fire artist. There will also be a cosplay fashion show.

Night Market (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Shop artisan foods, art, accessories and more, or get a Henna tattoo, from 9 p.m. to midnight at this one-of-a-kind market highlighting vendors exhibitors that bring a taste of different cultures to the Triangle.

Durham Bulls: Stranger Things Night (DBAP, 409 Blackwell Street, Durham) - The team’s uniforms for the evening are based off the fan-favorite character Dustin Henderson and feature his iconic hat and trusted backpack. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Stranger Things character or wear their favorite 80’s garb. The team’s uniforms will be auctioned off throughout the contest, and all proceeds will go to charity. Following the game will be a Friday Night Fireworks show accompanied by an 80s-themed soundtrack. Tickets for the event start at $7.99.

Outdoor Movie: The Last Jedi (NCMA, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - Watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi outdoors at the N.C. Museum of Art.
