Monday

Tuesday

Taco Tuesday (DBAP, 409 Blackwell Street in Durham) - Get $2 tacos during tonight's baseball game.

Weezer and the Pixies (Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, 3801 Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh) - The two rocks bands will play.

Disney's Newsies (Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, 2 E. South Street in Raleigh) - Adapted from the Disney film, New York City's newsboys seize the day when they strike against unfair working conditions. Experience the Tony Award-winning musical that's thrilled audiences on Broadway and across the country through July 29.

Dictador Rum Dinner (The Mayton Inn, 301 S. Academy Street in Cary) - Enjoy a unique three-course meal paired with beautiful rums followed by a special finishing course of rum and a custom Columbian cigar made especially for Dictador.

Wednesday

Bark in the Park (DBAP, 409 Blackwell Street in Durham) - You can bring your pup to a designated area of the DBAP tonight! There will even be a pre-game parade.

Comixed Monthly Drink and Draw (Coglin's, 226 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh) - From 8 to 10 p.m., meet local artists and fellow geeks for great networking and a drink. Bring your own art supplies.

Game of Thrones Trivia (Honest Abe's Kitchen and Bar, 5433 Wade Park Boulevard in Raleigh) - Feed your Game of Thrones obsession and feed local schoolchildren! Proceeds from this game will benefit Snacks@Schools, which provides healthy snacks to local schools at no cost to teachers. This trivia game is rated G and is appropriate for families.

Wind Down Wednesday (Waverly Place in Cary) - Enjoy free, live music and local eats from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring a blanket or chair.

Thursday

Exhibit Opening: Cameron Village Underground (City of Raleigh Museum, 220 Fayetteville Street) - This photography-based exhibit highlights The Underground, a premier music venue in the 1970s and 1980s. The Underground was played by such national acts as R.E.M. and Jimmy Buffett, and was the launching place for many regional acts such as the Connells, the Fabulous Knobs and Arrogance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and complimentary beer and wine will be provided.

Ms. Lauryn Hill (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S, McDowell Street, Raleigh) - See her perform.

Adult Summer Camp (N.C. Museum of Life and Science, 433 W. Murray Avenue in Durham) - Relive childhood - adult style. Make friendship bracelets, hit the target with archery, race your friends to the top of a 28' climbing wall, make s’mores and create a perler bead masterpiece all while enjoying your favorite adult beverage.

Watermelon Day (N.C. State Farmers Market) - Guests can enjoy a slice of local watermelon, watch a live weigh-in for the Largest Watermelon Contest and stock up on fresh, delicious N.C. watermelons.

New World Wine Dinner (Piedmont Restaurant, 401 Foster Street in Durham) - Enjoy wines from California to Chile and Argentina and paired dishes. Tickets are $65.

Friday

NCMA Outdoor Movie: The Big Sick (NCMA, 2110 Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh) - Chairs, blankets and picnic are welcome.

Raleigh SuperCon (Raleigh Convention Center) - Celebrates superheroes, anime, fantasy, science fiction, video games, pop culture and more during this three-day festival. Guests this year include Alice Cooper, William Shatner and John Barrowman.
