Durham's Bull City Reels on Wheels program at Durham County Stadium has proved popular, and the drive-in movie series is featuring some family favorites.

"Coco," "The Wiz" and "Home Alone" are slated for upcoming screenings, but you'll want to get your free tickets sooner than later.

Spots for "Coco," which is scheduled for Oct. 24, are full, but there is still time to get on the waiting list. Registration to see "The Wiz" on Nov. 21 opens on Nov. 9. It begins on Nov. 30 to see "Home Alone" on Dec. 12.

Durham Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Durham County Stadium is organizing the screenings. During the events, participants watch the movie from their vehicle on a screen that stands four feet off the ground and is 20-feet high and 40-feet wide. You hear the movie through an FM radio in your car or that you bring along.

Moviegoers are asked to not leave their car to watch the movie — and that means kids can't run around during the screening. But you can park backwards and sit in the back of your truck or SUV to watch the movie.

Food will be available for purchase (and masks are required if you leave your vehicle to purchase something), but you also can bring your own food.

The event has space for 75 cars, and restrooms are available on site. More information, including registration information, is on Durham's website.
