Durham home goes up in flames Thursday morning

A Durham home went up in flames Thursday morning.

Fire crews were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. on Linwood Avenue.

The home is next to the Alston Avenue exit on the Durham freeway.

Authorities said no one was injured.

Flames could be seen shooting out of the roof as firefighters worked to extinguish it.

The fire is under control.
