Car crashes into SECU on Hillsborough Street

A driver crashed into a State Employees Credit Union in Raleigh on Monday morning, damaging the building.
The crash occurred Monday around 2 a.m. at the bank at 2802 Hillsborough St., near Brooks Avenue and North Carolina State University.
Officials said the driver went through a roundabout and lost control of the car, a silver sedan, smashing into the building and bringing down a lamp pole.
Police said no one was hurt, and alcohol was not involved.
The car left a large hole in one wall. WRAL News is working to learn the extent of the damage to the building.
