Blink and you'll miss it! Coach K makes a cameo appearance in "Home Alone 2," but a quick internet search suggests almost no one has noticed.

Early on in the Christmas classic “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," during an eerie wind storm, the legendary Duke basketball coach can be seen on a newspaper stuck to Kevin McCallister’s front door warning of the Wet Bandits' escape from prison.

The backside of the Chicago-Sun Times paper shows Mike Krzyzewski along with Georgetown Coach John Thompson and Indiana Coach Bobby Knight, who was Coach K's basketball mentor.

Knight died recently, in November.

Home Alone 2 was shot and released in 1992, which places the film in the back-to-back championship seasons of the NCAA all-time winningest men’s coach’s tenure. Coach K's cameo is a fun Easter egg for holiday viewers and a brief snapshot to the popularity and success of the prodigious coach during the early 1990s.

Donald Trump in Home Alone 2

Coach K isn't the only famous non-actor to appear in Home Alone 2.

In a more well-known scene, Donald Trump is seen walking the halls of the Plaza Hotel and even directs Kevin McCallister to the lobby. The scene was shot 25 years before Trump would become the 45th president of the United States.

Trump owned the Plaza Hotel until 1995, during the time the movie was produced. According to the Plaza Hotel website, Trump purchased the hotel in 1988 for $407.5 million.
