Deputies: Shots fired following attempted armed robbery in Wendell

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted armed robbery that led to shots being fired.

Deputies responded to an attempted armed robbery at 7400 Siemens Road in Wendell Monday around 9 p.m.

Deputies learned two people threatened a man with a gun. Shots were fired in the parking lot. The suspects left before deputies arrived.

No injuries have been reported. As of this Tuesday afternoon, no one is in custody.
